The New iPad & 1080p Apple TV Announced

The New iPad features a retina display, Dual-core Apple A5X custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip with quad-core graphics, 5mp iSight camera, voice dictation and a 4G LTE model. Available March 16th.
The 3rd generation of Apple TV is here featuring 1080p video support. It’s a more polished complete version of the 2nd generation. The price will remain the same at $99. Available March 16th.
Comcast to Bring Live TV to iPad
By the end of the year, Comcast wants to begin offering live television to subscribers’ iPads long as they are near their home cable boxes. Apparently they will have a small box to plug into the back of the cable box that will allow wireless connectivity for the highest quality picture quality.
They claim a live-TV application and companion device will be made to customers in two cities in the next few weeks. The program will be called AnyPlay and will allow iPad access to every channel included within your cable package.

In the UK, a luxury goods company is selling an Apple iPad 2 for $8 Million (£5 million). This tablet is encrusted with a 12.5-carat diamond on the home button and 53 gems to create the Apple logo on the back.. speaking of the back, it’s made from two kilos of 24-carat gold! The front frame is made up of Ammolite, the oldest rock on the planet. Pressed into the 75 million year old rock are shavings from a T-Rex thigh bone dating back 65 million years.

Brikk’s $4,500 Titanium iPhone Case

Brikk announced a launch of a series of limited edition luxury iPhone cases on Sept 29th that profits will benefit those in need around the world. This collection revolves around the theme “Altruistic Precision” and will be launched with the trim series of luxury titanium cases for the iPhone 4.
Available in gold, platinum, ‘black DLC’ and ‘grey stealth’ finishes and cost from $3,000 (€2,200) to $4,500 (€3,300); and are initially only be available at Roseark shops in Los Angeles but product roll-outs in New York, Tokyo, Paris and London will follow.
Brikk states that for every Trim case sold, one metric ton of rice will be distributed to “those in need through select NGOs.”

Today Apple announced the iPhone 4S. Pre-orders start this friday, the 7th. Available on the 14th. Will be released for AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. iPhone 4S will feature a dual-core A5 processor, 8MP camera, dual-mode radio and Siri personal assistant

Apple has begun sending out invitations to it’s event on October 4th, 2011. Tag line: Let’s Talk iPhone. It’s safe to assume they will be announcing the iPhone 5, iOS5 and maybe different models of the iPhone 4. We’ll have to wait till next week to find out.
